At Stocks in the Future (SIF), we love to see excitement from not only students, but teachers and faculty as well. Mr. H., a teacher at Hamilton Elementary/Middle School, started teaching the Stocks in the Future curriculum this October. Prior to starting, he claims he was “not a big finance guy.” Mr. H. believes in the value of being honest with his classes and has repeatedly emphasized to them that he “wish[es] that I would’ve had something like this in this kind of format.” He is excited to give them this opportunity, in addition to reiterating his enthusiasm to learn from the curriculum as well. When asked about the collaboration between himself and the SIF staff, Mr. H. mentioned how he appreciated the time spent in person that was taken to invest time in both teachers and students. As the SIF Program continues at Hamilton for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year, Mr. H. looks forward to seeing his students become “more savvy” and to understand the need to “start early” when investing. It is incredible to see the passion for SIF grow and we look forward to seeing this continue with Mr. H. and his students this school year!
